Role: Web User Interface Developer
Project for the Blue Cross/Blue Shield entity Highmark. AMS was tasked with creating the Interface/HTML design for a Health and Dental Benefits web site based on Billcast. The goal was to design, develop, unit and test the user interface for Highmark's External, CSR and Super CSR functions and create web page mock-ups and prototypes for these areas.
Description of Responsibilities
- Gather requirements for the mock-ups and prototype with the client and stakeholders
- Develop and document the detailed system design and component specifications to meet system requirements
- Validate the detailed design with key stakeholders
- Develop mock-ups with the client and stakeholders
- Review the mock-ups with the client and revise as necessary
- Develop the prototypes that meets detailed design specifications and coding and quality standards
- Review the prototypes with the client and revise as necessary
- Document the software in a manner that it can be interpreted, maintained, and enhanced by others
- Create and execute unit and string tests and analyze results
- Correct software defects identified through testing efforts
- Document the prototype development for handover to the developers
- Complete all deliverables on schedule and within budget to meet client expectations
