Ozmosis offers a suite of services centered on physician collaboration. Ozmosis.org provides a place to exchange clinical, practice management and other health related information in a trusted and secure environment. This, the original Ozmosis service, provides a branded social network enabling doctors from the same discipline to communicate and share resources.
Description of Responsibilities
I was the principle front-end developer on the implementation of the Ozmosis Groups feature. This enhancement allows user to create public or private groups to collaborate with colleagues around particular interests, share files securely, post messages and manage events. Groups also aggregate related content from elsewhere on Ozmosis, providing a central location to find information on particular topics.
Although the platform is built on a highly customized Drupal implementation, I was able to come in and get up to speed quickly. Additionally, my extensive experience in UX helped resolve the myriad of usability issues that arise when implementing a major functional enhancement based on just a few mockups.
